Every busway project is different, so the specific commercial terms of each project (scope, payment, delivery and validity) are set out in its quotation. The general terms below apply to quotations and orders for busway systems supplied by ElectriDistro LLC wherever the quotation or purchase order does not state otherwise. If they conflict, the quotation prevails.
1. Prices
- Prices are net and stated in US dollars.
- Applicable taxes, such as VAT or IVA, are added at the time of invoicing.
2. Installation
- Installation is optional. When quoted, it includes engineering, installation accessories, labor and testing (for example insulation, operating temperature and voltage drop).
- A quoted supply-and-install price is a turnkey price. Changes in routes or capacities result in proportional price adjustments.
- Installation requires a specific contract that defines the scope of work.
3. Offer validity
- Each quotation states its validity period. Unless stated otherwise, quotations are valid for 15 calendar days from the issue date.
4. Warranty
- Supply: 18 months from delivery, against manufacturing defects.
- Installation, when contracted: 12 months from energization of the system, against manufacturing and installation defects.
5. Payment
- Payment terms are defined in each quotation and may vary by project.
- Unless the quotation states otherwise: 50% advance payment on order confirmation, and the remaining 50% on dispatch to site. No dispatch takes place until full payment is received.
6. Delivery
- Delivery schedules are agreed with each order. Transportation is the client's responsibility unless included in the accepted offer and purchase order.
7. Exclusions
- Breakers and cable connections upstream or downstream of the busway are excluded unless explicitly listed and priced in the offer.
8. Specifications and responsibility
- Clients define the technical and engineering parameters of the project, including capacities, lengths and dimensions.
- A written approval of the bill of materials (BOM) is required before production. Errors in client-provided specifications or dimensions are the client's responsibility.
- Unless explicitly included in the offer, products are supplied ex-factory and engineering services are contracted separately.
- ElectriDistro's liability is limited to the manufacture and supply of the products described in the purchase order or confirmed documentation.
9. Cancellation
- A 10% cancellation fee applies to orders cancelled before production starts.
10. Partners and technical requests
- Pre-approved discounts are available for distributors and commercial partners.
- Custom solutions for non-standard systems are available on request.
