IP68Overview
IP68 cast-resin busway
GM is a fully enclosed, cast-resin busway from Wetown Electric. Epoxy resin with a halogen-free mineral filler seals the copper or aluminum conductors completely, so the run stays protected in water, salt mist, chemicals and buried installations. Ideal when the project needs IP68.
Best for: Wet, corrosive or buried runs that need IP68
Key features
IP68 sealed
Designed to stay energized safely when immersed in more than 1 m of water.
Cast epoxy resin
Epoxy resin and halogen-free inorganic mineral filler. No toxic gas emissions.
Copper or aluminum
High-purity electrolytic copper or 6101 T64 aluminum alloy conductors.
Corrosion resistant
Resists chemical corrosion, electromagnetic interference, animals and insects.
Mechanically robust
Withstands 20 J of mechanical impact and the spray of a fire hydrant.
Horizontal or vertical
Installs as horizontal hoisted runs or vertical risers.
